Without a doubt Mr Atlas is the most pretentious trainer in the history of boxing. The man is obviously a complete idiot as he makes the most corny speaches (which always seem well rehearsed) and seems to be under the impression that he is saying something clever and evocative. I have yet to hear him give any valuable boxing advice between rounds and actually feel embarrassed for him when he breaks into one of his rants. Tonight he has once again tried to make it the Teddy Atlas show and steal the limelight.
That is why every fighter or manager with a brain left him, they could not stand his bull****. Don't forget, you only se him on tv and during bouts like today. Imagine being on gym with him every day, and the pain in the ass phone calls where he checks on guys, or just calls them to talk ****. He will take credit, but though friends who are reporters, he won't hog spotlight too much himself.
teddy's the greatest boxing pundit ever and an amazing ambassador for the sport! the NY accent makes him sound like an old timer and it appeals to the casuals cause he doesn't sound like a softy...... long live teddy, the #1 boxing personality ever
Complete moron, he is classic drama queen trying to sound smart but he comes of sounding very stupid, and i agree i'm sure he rehearses speech before fights. He is nowhere near Roach or Steward quality, while these to are always so natural atlas is always so pretentious and believes he is the most important person in boxing

Teddy loves boxing. He does the best he can. He is only human. Like him training much better than announcing and picking fights.
