I knew cleveland was no bum and it took an outstanding ali to absolutly dominate him like a child,(like ive heard,the greatest at his greatest).Had a sticky beak at clevelands record and 20 fights in 1952 would have to be some sort of record in itself,thanks josey for the post,it seems cleveland did lose those 2 fights with liston,but your docco footage shows he didn't run,but infact stood up to liston!Cheers!!
..onya Josey:good..that was gold..I've never seen those Williams/Liston fights either...that was somethin'else ...and he was a physically more impressive man than Liston too...and that's sayin' somethin'...a shame that Williams is probably only remembered for the Ali fight when he was obviously a way better fighter than that..
Cus was one of the greatest trainers of all time... he knew Tyson would be something special when everyone else just saw a 15 year old thug I love the stories he tells of how Tyson was beating up grown men when he was 14 :rofl
Yeah but did you see the footage where he was literally crying his eyes out before he fought in amatures,I think it was teddy atlas who consoled him;
