wait for an vid vs liakovich and you will know what I mean. dude is tall & strong, has serious power, his combos are fast and prety accurate and bottum line "He gives his ALL"!!!!!!! let him get a strength n conditiong coach and he could be a serious opponent for anybody.
peter was in good shape (not super duper, but not either) got f... up and liakovich was definitly well trained and had great moments in the fight and helenius just better by the way, haye looks also very good vs former champs hahahaha.......vs current..mmmhhhh =)
Peter was in "good shape" against Helenius?! :rofl:roflatsch Sam was 260lbs of whale blubber, a fatty 19lbs of lard heavier than he was for Wlad rematch.
But peter is not the sam peter in wlad 1 fight and he was just KO by wlad. Shot to ****. Once your shot thats it. Come in 100% but your still shot. liakovich best years are way way way behind him and hasnt done **** in years. Robert is good but this Koing shot champs is getting stupid now. Rahman will be next but I hope its Boystov or Fury next
was still punching hard and having his moments and would have been able too KO 90 % of current heavyweight. in great shape or middle shape you still have too look good vs peter and robert did by doing what he did.
Helenius did not look great. Many people had Liakhovich way ahead going into the 8th round. Helenius was bulled around, and he got roughed up a lot on the inside. He also struggled to find the range. He showed no left jab. If not for Liakhovich running out of gas, Helenius would have lost tonight.
I still consider him just a prospect, if I was Holyfield I'd go after this guy. It's sad that I don't even have a 'favorite heavy to watch', nobody comes close to K2
True. :deal Helenius could maybe KO Chambers or Haye with one huge punch, but he's a worse boxer than Valuev, so unless he lands big, he loses bad.
Against the White Wolf I had him winning by at least 5 rounds prior to the KO. Helenius impressed me greatly during this fight. Prior to this I thought he really had to work on his foot work and stamina badly. Tonight I have seen massive improvements in his stamina, his foot work still needs a lot of work. He has lost the a lot of the fat around his belly, lets hope he's taking it seriously now. Tbh I think I might just have to say that Helenius right now is the best finisher in boxing, forget about his first 10 fights or so, just have a look at his last 5 fights. Koing 3 ex World champs as well as European champs flat out cold. Still only 15 fights under his belt, but make no mistake about it, Helenius has made massive strides today. As I have said along I still want to see him pad his record against decent opposition prior to facing a Klitschko. Right now I don't fancy him against a technical fighter like Chambers, Povetkin or Adamek. So I would like to see him pad his record against decent, busy, stepping stone fighters like Chagaev, Timur, Haye and Mormeck. Once this chap has 20 fights under his belt he will be very. very dangerous. Dare I say it, is he the best finisher is the business? I think he just might might be, I thnkk so.
The thing is: Helenius KNOCKED OUT two completely SHOT fighters and the most (and only) impressive part from him was the KO. Liakhovich was jabbing him at will, was working the body perfectly and winning almost every round. He lost cuz he was tired after 30 seconds in the first round and has lost the snap WAAAAY before. Robert will have the punchers chance against anyone, but what i don't like about him is: Anyone from the top guys gives him a lesson in terms of boxing.
