2 Solid fights tonight and a title bout in 2 weeks between 2 of the other best in the division

Chag vs Povetkin was a good fight passive early then seemed to have its moments around 7 or 8 Chag started landing the left and Povetkin was looking tired and fading

then Povetkin came on 9 to 12 and took the win in a fight better than expected

Povetkin has his share of problems

what next? how bout European Champ Dimitrenko, Arreola, Helenius or Haye

Main event was a good one

both men fought hard answering back when the other did something good, i didnt score it but thought it was close thru 5 or even 6

then sergey hit the deck and i didnt think it was gonna go longer

the next round sergey came right out swinging it was impressive but short lived

helenius has flaws but he fought a game and experienced opponent struggled but put him away

next up why not povetkin or dimitrenko or even haye, klitschko not quite ready for either just yet

or even a manuel charr or fury type

as for the wolf he fought a great effort came in shape hit the head and body and tested the young guy

Povetkin was mandatory challenger to Wlad and ducked him blatantly. That **** really pisses me off. You win some, you lose some, but you take your chances at greatness.

WOW he ducked the ****ing heavyweight champion to get more experience under his belt, deal with it. if you had a head between your shoulders you would do the same thing.

he's 31 years old. And anyways what can be better experience than fighting for the heavyweight championship. If you lose you learn from it and come back stronger.

unfortunatley yes though chambers and thompson are good challengers

some old guard still lingers as gate keepers

but you have some prospects on the way up but im not sold on most

Yeah, the talking heads on the US media keep chanting that mantra, and the boxing forum ******s keep parroting it, but in truth the heavyweight division is now bigger and stronger and more truly international in scope than it has ever been before.

Like they said on the Epix broadcast. Heavyweight boxing is dead in the U.S. but globally it is thriving.

APs duck of Wlad makes this title null and void, he had a fight scheduled with the real champ, Wlad, and totally bitched out. I believe teddys words were 'there are times when a fighter must behave like a fighter and there are times a fighter must *****, and joe I gotta tell ya, weve gotta *****'
