Joe had a pretty easy time after the first 3 rounds. Hopkins was looking to quit near the end. Both are legends but Calzaghe owns BHop.

Joe outlanded Hopkins every single round according to Compubox.

Whose 'video analysis', exactly? Yours? Calzaghe controlled the fight, brought the fight, outlanded Hopkins, and honestly, made him look foolish. I root for B-Hop, but that's the facts. :smoke

The good thing is that Hopkins only lost to a whiteboy by decision instead of a tko. His gas tank was emptying until he pulled his oscar moment off.

Yeah he lost. His minimalist approach did not leave an impression on the judges against a guy who's pace, speed and volume punching he couldn't come to grips with. Hopkins was reduced to acting and spoiling to try to steal points and rounds. On another night he may have stolen the decision, judges weren't easily fooled that night though. Sucks be to him, especially because of what he said before the fight. He definately lost to a white boy.

Yes he did lose emphatically to a white boy! Joe landed a redcord number of shots on B-Hop according to compubox.

The scoring by rounds, as seen by the three AMERICAN judges at ringside.

(Dark colours: Three judges all agree; Light colours, two judges to one)

I'm not surprised Calzhage won this. Hopkins is a great boxer and admittedly a legend, I don't care how racist he is outside of the ring. I didn't see Pascal II but I'm guessing they gave it to Pascal. Although I can see why many people don't like BHop, as part of his entrance involves basically trying to scare the living daylights out of the opposing combatant, which is cumulative with racist talk inside the ring. Sorry theboss for the image. Just a test to see how the linking works.
