I have to say, I think Evan Fields can get the job done. Not saying he will, but I think he is capable.

Imagine having a 49-year-old heavyweight champion. Will he get the shot? I think he will.

    Your thoughts?

I'm a HUGE Holyfield fan, so I hope this fight comes down. Holy knows this is his big shot, his last shot. He will be ready.

    Let's get it on! :bbb

Holy may be a little bit worn for Wlad (you never know, though), but I do think he has enough left to give Povetkin a real battle. I would be stoked if he could win the belt again. :happy

No, Povetkins youth would be too much also the fact Atlas trains him (who's plotted a prime Holyfields demise) would also help Povetkin.

The question is not if Holyfield can, but can Evan Fields?

atlas is a joke and him being povetkins trainer would have nothing to do with anything... it would be youth vs experience nothing more

I have no doubt Holy will/would come into this fight roided to the ****ing gills, more then likely with ever other possible advantage possible.

Guy wants to be champion again, to say the least

Holyfield's shot to pieces. I can't see him even making this close on the scorecards.

Povetkin is prone to marking up, and Holy loves to butt

Wlad should have rolled on Holy a few years back so maybe we wouldn't be having this convo right now.

Holyfield can but will Sauerland allow it? Or will Holyfield be robbed again like he was against Valuev.

    No.

Holy should cash out agaisnt a Klit and retire. Povetkin is exactly the kind of fight he does not need. Alex would do just enough to outpoint him without taking any risks or laying it on, and Holy would cliam some sort of moral victory for going the distance, thus living to fight another day.

Just take the big beating then hang them up.
