Maybe the reason for him not wanting to promote the rematch is because they lost cash on the promotion? I don't think there's anyway they could pay Tarver that sort of coin again and now that Tarver is the champ i can't see him taking a pay cut either.
I thought danny said he just wants his belt back, and thats what fighters do blah blah blah :roll: Green might have lost money on the first fight, i doubt it though. But its a hell of a lot easier for him to use promotional issues as an excuse not to rematch the guy who kicked the **** out of him.
There was a lot of empty seats that night and from what i hear ppv sales were down too so you can't blame GMB being a bit shy about promoting the fight. If Tarver takes a pay cut then the fight could happen here but Danny would prefer the fight be in the states. They took a massive risk getting rjj out here and it paid off big time financially however this time it didn't work out as well.

He was interviewed this morning on 'Weekend Sunrise' and clearly stated "that he wanted to go to Antonio's backyard and win my title back." This rematch ain't happening anywhere. It won't happen in the USA and Danny will claim Antonio didn't want the rematch and he'll then continue to put shows on back in Perth. Why the **** would he want to get hammered again? Danny's smarter than that for ****s sake! Easy pickings back here at catchweights against selected opponents.

Danny's is smart and is just milking the public again into thinking he wants a rematch and he then can bag tarver for ducking him. He will then fight cameron and say he's still wants the tarver fight. It looks like the circus is over and green should retire IMO. u guys r ****ing sooks fair dinkum. he gets one of the greatest fighters in history in jones jnr, NOBODY AT ALL gave him a chance of winning, and jones was apparently going to make green look like an idiot and wouldn't land a punch over 12 rounds, yet green is milking the public ffs. he brings tarver out who is one of the best boxers to ever fight in australia, yet even in losing, he is milking the public and a ****, ****wit, blah, blah, blah? seriously some of u r PROFESSIONAL WHINGERS. yes he has fought some bums, but so has virtually every other aussie boxer, and green hasn't forced any of u or the public to watch these fights. if u despise him so much, why watch him fight if he is fighting inadequate opposition. i don't like mundine, so i hardly ever watch him fight, its very simple.

Danny wont fight anyone with half a pulse, they thought Tarver was shot! plain and simple, they went off his last fight and anyone who watched that had the opnion Tarver was shot. RJJ was also shot and had been knocked out by other fighters prior to Danny, no one gave Danny a chance i will admit that but no one also thought he would use loaded wraps either.
