Floyd was wrong though when he said DLH let Floyd Sr. go. I think Sr. overpriced himself so he wouldn't train against his son.
Right. He demanded millions (over ten I think?) since he had the "secrets" for a gameplan to beat his son. I guess Floyd is saying his training wasn't worth the money, and so he left. In Sr.'s eyes, he's the one who thought DLH wasn't worth having if training him to beat his own son wasn't going to pay up that much. It works both ways.
Says something about the Mayweathers when Roger comes off as the sensible one. I wonder if that whole thing was staged?
What Floyd said was true. Nobody gets along with Floyd sr. All his fighters leave him or he leaves them.
That would be ****ing funny. But I doubt he will. What would be more interesting is if Roach shows up in Ortiz' camp to help him. That would really be crazy.
If Oscar wanyed Floyd sr. in his corner, he would have been there. Floyd sr. got greedy and oscar basically called his bluff. Sr. would have no doubt settled for the percentage Oscar was offering him but Oscar dumped him. Oscar is shrewd when it comes to business and didnt play sr's games..
Oh yeah! And what if Mike Tyson showed up at Mayweathers camp, and Julia Roberts showed up at Pacquiaos camp! Be ****ing crazy wouldnt it *******?
Probably so but if Floyd Sr. were to put his mind into it he could be a elite trainer but his ego and lack of focus is what ****s him up.
Agreed, hard not to like the kid and ill be pulling for him all the way, but at the end of the day Floyd will beat Ortiz pretty decisively imo
