We all know Floyd likes to play the bad guy to sell fights.

But the truth is, someone that's a complete "good guy" 90 percent of the time wouldn't be able to play the bad guy so well for the cameras the other 10. Considering his upbringing and the way his role models (who the commercial model of Floyd's persona doesn't rely on for celebrity) act, arguing with his father in a struggle to establish dominance after bringing up sensitive issues isn't implausible at all.

Cameras make it that much harder to back down, especially when you feel you're being disrespected.
