Why did "Lewis-Tua" of '00 fizzle in heat / action over its 12 rd limit? Your words.

Tua loaded up too hard on his hook.... Of course a skilled man with a team like Lewis had saw it all coming....

Tua has a freakish body. He carries a heavy's weight, but is short with short arms. It's easy pickins for someone built like Lewis. Tua could't reach him.

    No.

Tua did the exact same thing Tyson did, bulked up thinking it would help strength wise against the much bigger man.

As for why he never left it all in there? Don't know, maybe a 5'10 guy with a short reach gets disheartened after a while when all he's doing is hitting air and getting caught at will.

Ruiz was as green as Tua was when Tua KOd him.
I wouldn't call the 90s top contendes bums and stiffs .
Darroll Wilson was undefeated with KO wins over Briggs and Tshabalala when Tua KOd him , Maskaev only had his loss to McCall and later went to

    and Derrick Jefferson too.
Oquendo was problematic to everyone he fought but Tua did get rid of him.
Izon and Sullivan weren't that bad either.
Dannell Nicholson actually had a title belt whiuch counts to some here , having won it against no other than John Ruiz , Nicholson was intentionally butted by Golota which inflicted on the outcome of their fight and probably on his fights after it.
Tua did not choke against Ibeabuchi more than Ibeabuchi choked against Tua and neither did he lose to Byrd.
Lewis seemed shaken/bewildered to me after his first or second round with Tua but the height gape was just too big to overcome and that is all.

She is quite correct in this 1.
Tua was somewhat reduced from his former self come year 2000 , smaller men burn out sooner as they rely more on stamina , workrate , speed and reflexes.

Tua was unable to get past the reach of LL

There was no way LL was going to let a dangerous puncher like Tua, get anyhwere close to him.

    LL did the right thing.

Also interesting to note, he did the same thing against Tyson, just like Tua he hit him with a huge shot in the first.

To get respect in them or put fear in them?

Lewis was cautious in plenty of fights.1
Tua, after sampling a couple of right hands, fought to survive not to win.2.

Is Tua breathing-in & tensing his torso there? :think

His body looks totally different (flabby) in these pics...

245lbs is a absolutely stupid weight for a 5'9 fighter.

Tua couldn't get any punches off, got hurt and went into a shell. Lewis didn't risk going for the kill. THe fight wasn't as bad as a Wlad Klit fight mind you

Wlad has several fights which are more entertaining than Lewis-Tua...

    For instance:

    Wlad-Barrett
    Wlad-Mercer
    Wlad-Peter I
    Wlad-Byrd II
    Wlad-Brewster II
    Wlad-Rahman
    Wlad-Chagaev
