    This one is:

    (1:25-1:45, 5:40-5:49)

And that's despite the fact that the first video you posted is a montage of isolated shots spliced together in short succession, rather than a stretch of actual fighting.

Sure you do, Hernandez was a lot tougher to stop than Jr. Jones was.

Yep, Arguello lost a decision against a very mobile opponent. In a year where he went 5-1 (4) including his first win over Escalera, which is why occurrences like this gain so much stigma.

I would've brought up JLR myself, as he uses more economic movement/angles to actually outpunch Alexis throughout the ten rounds, and was robbed badly. There, Arguello couldn't light too many fuses even against a primarily offensive opponent.

You have no integrity Itri,...that's your problem, aside from having no credibility of course.

I had it 6-4 Ramirez, +1kd. Therefore I don't think Arguello could feasibly have won that fight.

Of course, but to be honest I preferred you when you were an all-round quality poster and less of a historical troll ;-)

Technically very sound, excellent jab, decent speed, incredible straight right hand/uppercut, explosive left hook (upstairs and downstairs), excellent conditioning, smooth boxer-puncher with incredible finishing skills, great whiskers, true 12-15 rd fighter. Lots to all time grea Aaron Pryor fighting above his optimum weight, yep not much skills. BTW, he would have destroyed Morales...

His right uppercut to the body is arguably the best ever.

I hate Floyd with a passion, and I don't think he could've beaten the prime Mosley or even de la Hoya. But Arguello, I am not sure. He was too slow and deliberate; and, largely as a result, he had a tendency to get out-boxed by quicker, unorthodox fighters.

On point with the general topic, I think Arguello is a prime example of a guy who is technically sound and yet was prone to get out-boxed due to his physical limitations. On the opposite side is a guy like Hearns--who did a lot of things in a technically un-sound manner--but never got out-boxed due to his reach and speed.
