Ortiz has a good story, but that's not enough to win against Mayweather.

It should be a one sided fight.

    Good post. Spot on.
Considering. One of the judges had Oscar the winner, as did FLoyd Sr. And castillo certainly won their first fight.

Floyd is the current #2 fighter in the world, an ATG, but nowhere near the top, unlike his delusions.
Odds still in FMJ favor, but Ortiz may surprise, just as most picked him to lose to Berto.

LO, Victor is just repeating the same stupid **** that other Floyd haters say. Floyd has beaten way better competition than Victor has ever faced.

He beat Castillo twice, clearly beat DLH. Bad scoring doesn't change that.

If Floyd is garbage, what does that make Ortez.

I wonder what Ortiz is gonna be thinking when the verdict of a wide UD is gonna be announced in favor of Mayweather.

As Naazim Richerdson said the day Ortiz signed that contract he "won".
Meaning reflecting on his past to where he is now he has achieved a great deal, adopting his brother, making it as pro, winning the WBC belt & 2million gurantee for this fight. Even "when" he loses this fight he still "wins"

I can see how his style might be the right sort of style to trouble Mayweather, but the problem is he is too raw technically to make any sort of headway I think. His footwork is pretty poor and I think he over-stretches himself, meaning that his isn't in stance when on the offensive. That is murder for a southpaw going in against such a good counter-puncher with the right hand.

I don't see how Oscar's jab has any relevance because Ortiz doesn't have one, let alone an Oscar quality one.

Floyd fans: "Victor is a young, hungry lion. Very dangerous opponent"

Victor: "I don't think Mayweather is that special. I will destroy him"

    Floyd fans:
"Shut the **** up, Victor! If Mayweather ain't special, what does that make you? You his *****!"

His lead left isn't all that great either.

Ortiz is going to be eating hooks upstairs and right hands to the body.:yep

He's a converted right hander for christs sake. He should be killing people with that jab. Especially when you consider just how monstrous his right hook and uppercut are.

Victor Ortiz isn't a very bright boy, the quote hammers that home. His trainer isn't very smart either if he doesn't respect Floyd and thinks he got to where he is beating washed up fighters.

It wiill make it all the more enjoyable when they get the boxing clinc put on both of them.
