Ortiz is an Azteca Warrior. I don't think he has the temperament to be a jab artist. What you think?:think

Ortiz should watch that fight with Oscar a little closer. Oscar kept throwing the jab, the difference was he stopped landing it. Mayweather made an adjustment.

When Floyd started hammering the body everytime Oscar threw the jab, he stopped throwing it. The fact that Ortiz can't see that speaks to way he is very susceptible to being outboxed.

Generally the more you talk un factual, unintelegent rubbsih, the more you doubt what you are actually saying.

Let's look at haye vs klit. He felt and knew his skills alone were not enough, and that he neded something more in order to win the fight.

Same with ortiz. Of course I don't expect him to admit he's going to loose, but you may as well pay the man some respect and give credit where its due. Even Floyd haters can't deny his skills.

Said it before and I will say it again..... Mayweather vs gatti part 2

It shouldn't really matter. He should learn how to throw it. Take Chavez or Lopez. Both warriors from the Mexican cloth, both technically brilliant fighters. Both very patient fighters also. Even his idol Vargas was a very tight boxer when he wanted to be, Ortiz is pretty much a bull.

    Ortiz doesn't have Gatti's heart.

I agree that Castillo beat him and that Oscar was clearly winning the fight until he gassed and stopped using the jab, and that Floyd has been one of the greatest cherrypickers of all-time over the past 9 years, but I think Victor knows what a good technician Floyd is really, he's just talking up the fight to the fans and to himself. It's better to hear him speak with boldness like this, rather than saying stuff like "Floyd's great, it'll be a great fight, etc etc". Good on him. He'll need that confidence in the ring with Mayweather.

Castillo didn't beat him though. Oscar wasn't ever clearly winning the fight, I would also add it was Floyd who made him "gas out".

Victor is a good kid, but he can't beat a boxer and he can't fight going backwards.

I have watched the Floyd/Oscar fight at least 4 times and I never saw this 'clearly winning with the jab by Oscar before he gassed' that so many others have seen......I'll watch the fight today.

Ortiz is an inexperienced fighter who is 1-1 (ko loss) in title fights and has only been 12 rounds once in his career. And his trainer is literally a truck driver.

Floyd has been winning title fights for over a decade and his trainer is a former world champion.

    Floyd by KO

That's because he only won rounds 2, 4, and 6. Winning only 3 of the first 6 rounds isn't CLEARLY winning.
