After the Lewis fight, they werent exactly looking for a world title shot but instead some easy names for Tyson to blast out and make a few million bucks because of his name so why pick big guys like Williams and Mcbride who are harder to KO and we know Tyson is not a 10 round fighter, he needed oppenants he could blast out within 4, and small guys like Ettiene.

I would say yes. It was no mystery on who could beat Tyson even at the start of his career. A big man with a long jab who could push him back and bully him around like Williams did....

Bull**** Mike beat big men who were way better than Williams, guys like Bruno and Golota, hell even Nielson and Saverese were better than Williams, Danny-boy was just lucky to fight a Shot AND injured Tyson.

It's amazing how a clown like you will cry about injuries with your favorites, but will totally ignore Mike's injury in the Williams fight, which he was DOMINATING up until he twisted his knee.

And No I don't think Tyson was mismatched, I think he was Mismanaged, they never got him in decent fighting shape after the Ettiene fight, In every fight he has been over 230, he has been ****, I think he was rushed, and his conditioning was NOT consistant, which led to his injury against Williams, which ultimately finished his career for good.

    Nielson
    Lewis
    Williams
    McBride

He just did not want to fight, he was in it for money at end. Ability was still there, but he was just so stressed out he could not handle it.

    I agree with your point.

I believe they were trying to match Tyson with the 'big slug' types who wouldn't be hard for Tyson to consistently land bombs on. They misjudged the impact of those extra 20-35 pounds Tyson would be giving up.

He fought for 10 years when his heart obviously wasn't in it, made over $100 mil...So no, he was not mismatched...

It's obviously a mystery to you, you never saw the start of his career...Everyone knew the only thing that would beat Tyson was outside the ring...

We do know what beats wlad and it is inside the ring, a semi-fast puncher with a good chin...

Tyson wasn't mismanaged. He just wasn't himself anymore after getting out of jail and even a bit before that.

Oh, he twisted his knee! What happened in the Douglas fight ,a plague of locusts?

    What about the Mcbride fight?

The only constants with Tyson as far as I am concerned are that he was over rated and people like you making excuses for him at every opportunity:hi:
