It wasn't staged to the point that they had a script they were reading off or knew exactly what they were going to say but Floyd knows what he's doing.

The argument went both ways. Sr always tries to take ALL the credit for Floyd's success. And that is disrespectful to Roger, who filled that void, to some degree, when Sr. was not around. I think Floyd Jr. went overboard though, attacking Sr's credibility as a trainer and a fighter. These things happen in the heat of an argument though...people go for the jugular, sometimes. There are deep seated issues between Jr. and Sr., and it's not uncommon in many families. The difference is Floyd is a famous athlete whose dirty laundry was televised for millions to see. But, in this age of reality TV, not much should surprise us.

And I'm sure the reason why people like 50 cent, did not try to get involved, was because, that is family business. As long as no punches were thrown, the situation was under control (that's what bodyguards are for). Even Roger, who always has an opinion, knew to stay out of that argument...that's between a father and his son.

 

Mike Tyson created more controversy, talked more smack, struck more fear, demanded more respect, electrified more crowds, shook up more media outlets, and was a more unstoppable beast than any athlete in history. There will never be another like him.
