floyd is one talented sob. he likes to dance, he can fake wrestle, and now the theatrics with his dad. :yep

 

I think he's definitely above average in intelligence. he just makes some delusional comments sometimes which doesn't make him look that good.

 

The enviroment he grew up in with his domineering father Sr and all his ignorance wouldn't have been very conducive to great intellectual growth. Also being forced into boxing so young, with an unstable family of drug addicts and drug pushers who would hardly have been concerned with making sure their son got a good education, Floyd actually did well in that he can put a coherent sentence together, unlike his father and uncle. Did Floyd even go to school, or graduate, anyone know?

 

Floyd retired in 2007 after banking almost $100mil from both the Oscar and Hatton fights. He had to return in 2009 and ask GBP for a $10mil loan and in return, gave GBP the rights to promote his future fights. If you can blow that much money in such little time, you're a very dumb man!

When Floyd says that he was abandoned at 5yrs old or that his parents cooked his dog just so they had food to eat, or was forced to kill as a child soldier, then I'll feel sorry for him. His childhood was actually quite typical considering where he came from. I myself had it worse than Floyd growing up.

Floyd never even had to work a regular job a day in his life. He was supported by his grandmother, and spent his entire youth in a boxing gym.
