I was trying to say that the 24/7 are BS. And the little soap opera BS too. 24/7 are bad for the real fan its one wtf moment after another. For sure I would not expect high grades from floyd but hes smart enough to feed the haters with the camera to accomplish half of what he wants and what he does in the ring the other half.

On this week's episode of 24/7, what was a very good episode featuring the uplifting story of young Victor Ortiz, was overshadowed by a dark and nasty verbal assault on one of boxing's most diplomatic and beloved figures.

At the end of the episode, Floyd Mayweather Jr. began to lash out at Floyd Mayweather Sr., and it started something that really hurt the sport of boxing to it's core.

The argument, which was started when Mayweather Sr., humble as always, innocently ran down his list of sterling accomplishments in the sport, and Jr., always jealous of his father's respect and success, began to belittle him in front of live HBO cameras and stunned onlookers in his gym.

Jr. viciously chastised Sr., spreading lies about DLH dumping Sr. as a trainer, and lashing out senselessly, while Sr., near tears and obviously emotionally pained by this, helplessly tried to defend himself.

It eventually reached the point where Jr. called him a "******", and Sr.'s heart visibly broke on camera. Jr. then demanded him to get out of his gym.

It was one of the darkest moments in all of boxing history. Here we have Floyd Sr., one of the greatest trainers ever to have graced a boxing gym, being treated as nothing more than a commoner by his own son. Floyd Sr. was so afraid of the titanic rage his son exhibited, that he threatened to use physical force to defend himself against Jr., whose anger seemed murderous towards the end of the episode.

Indeed it was pathetic to see Floyd Sr., a man who has never had a bad word against anyone, and whose respect for his fellow trainers and thier fighters is beyond reproach treated in this manner. He is revered as a mythical hero in the annals of boxing lore, his skill and poetry integral to the betterment of our beloved sport.

And he's always praised his son, no matter the situation. Floyd Jr., as well as Roger, who sat by and did nothing as his older brother was viciously attacked, should bow to this man and praise him as the god he is. For without Sr., Roger or Jr. would never have found any success whatsoever.

In a long legacy that includes fixed fights, terrible decisions, loaded handwraps, and criminal assaults in the ring, this was by far the most evil act ever committed in the sport's history. If our own top fighters can't revere and respect one of it's true Patron Saints, then what does that mean, not only for our sport, but for the human race?

Floyd Sr. is the light shining in the dark parts of our souls, the wind beneath our wings, the man we really all want to be. We should not allow him, as fans of this sport, to be treated this way.

Therefore we should boycott Mayweather-Ortiz until Jr., Roger, HBO, GBP and the President of the United States issues an written apology to Sr., along with money to be donated to charity in his name.

'Floyd Mayweather Sr: A scumbag amongst scumbags' would have been a more accurate description.
