Does whether a mayweather-martinez fight happens at 160 or 154 make a diffrence?

I think at 160 sergio martinez will knock floyd out.Martinez would come in at 159 and mayweather 154.I can't see him going 12 rounds without getting stopped. But at 154,floyd can come in at 150(his same weight for the de la hoya fight) and have bascially have the same speed he had at 147.I think at 154 it's a 50/50 fight, could go either way.

It doesn't happen at either weight. Neither does Martinez vsPacquiao. They will not fight.

154 is already too big for money.

Sexy serg should just stop with the nonsense. Floyd is too small for sexy sergio

If it happens at 160, that's the max they can weigh in at. Floyd doesn't have to be at least 154

It makes a difference, but I doubt Floyd makes either weight

This is not happening who has Martinez beat and how many fans does Martinez have for Floyd to want to go up in weight and fight him?

Only way there is a fight is if Sergio goes down or agrees on a catchweight. same goes for Pac.

All Sergio has is a MW belt and an inflated P4P ranking. No fan base. He's too big of a risk(I think Sergio beats Floyd at either weight) for too little a reward.

It makes a big diffrance in my opinion. Martinez is 36? Mayweather is 34?. At their age it is easier to gain weight than it is to lose it. This means at 154 it is easier for Mayweather to be at or near the weight than it is for Martinez to come down from 160. My guess is that Martinez would weigh in at 154 while Mayweather at 150.
My Pick at 154: Mayweather 9-3
If the fight takes place at 160 than Martinez really dose not need to shed to much just what ever he walks around at. Now it is easier to go up than down in weight. However, there is such a thing as too far. Mayweather is about 5'7" this makes him a normal welterweight and a small light middleweight. While he can win as a small fighter there is a point for every boxer outside of the heavyweights that going up takes away their effectiveness. 160 is probbly where that starts for Mayweather.
My pick at 160: Martinez 8-4.
