ESPN"s Dan Rafael rates Australia's top 5 Boxers....

CHB..mate due to our skinny depth of talent obviously Green and Mundine whether we like it or not are gunna be in a top ten somewhere...regardless of how **** some of their last few fights were...I think Mundine is a better 'boxer' than Greeny so he sneaks in just above him...I think Mundine showed that depite gettin' belted by Woods..when he's motivated he can still box well...but not well enough to beat Geale in a rematch...
...and that poses the question of whee does Bika fit in...considerin' he'd belt Green and Mundine?

 

While his comments about Mundine are spot on, I don't credit Rafael's opinion for 2 reasons:

1. When Kostya came back from 2 years out due to injury and shoulder reconstruction to rematch Mitchell, Rafael didn't give him a chance.

2. Rafael is a fat **** who has obviously never done a minute's exercise in his life, never mind actually boxed.

the reason mundog isnt in there is through recent performance. who has he fought? who has he beat/

5 years ago mundine was in the mix. old victories mean nothing. this topic isnt about the best 5 in the last 10 years. its about NOW. and right now, mundog dont cut it.

Dan Rafael is a very well rounded individual, actually he is so well rounded he's nearly a perfect circle . 260 pounds of pure ****en cholesterol, a ****in heart attack on hold. But seriously, he is a respected journo with a keen interest in boxing. Wether that makes him an authority on boxing is up to his readers to judge. I have yet to meet someone who is truely an absolute authority on boxing and i'm not holding my breath till i do.

Having Dib at #3 shows he was just looking at whose a world champion and latest rankings.
