Jr blew up like that because he's a mother ****in diva. What the **** is so hard to understand about that? Why in the **** do people gotta make excuses for his behavior. Respect him as a fighter but his personal life... Man... That's the world for ya'll....imagine nothing but that. That's the world? Please...
You're not familiar with the 10 commandments? Listen man...if I murder somebody...are you gonna justify my behavior because you think I'm the **** or are you gonna see it as it is? It is what it is. That doesn't give us any right to judge Mayweather as a person as that's left to God, but we can at least differentiate between right and wrong and leave it at that. Do we make similiar mistakes...of course, but don't try to justify a mistake as something it isn't. It is what it is.
You're gonna be an old man one day. Remember that. The mentality does not deserve excuses. It is what it is like you said right? So leave it alone. Let him fight and beat Ortiz who couldn't even hit the pads in 24/7.
Whichever the case grown men gossiping over another grown man's personal life is not a good look, this is a boxing forum not real housewives, I've never made a post about a boxer outside of the ring because its about boxing with me not what a boxer does outside the ring... I don't want or need a friend in a fighter don't want to chill with them and I'm too old for a role-model, at the end of the day I want to either see you win a fight or get your ass kicked, after they step out of that ring **** em...
Shallow people blame Floyd Jr for the argument but from watching it was clear that Sr was just there trying to start something by saying do Floyd train his fighters and that he is the best trainer in the world crap, clearly trying to put down Roger, and talking slick about his son, in the same breath, basically saying he aint **** without him training him, and then Sr had the nerve to say you will see about Floyd "one day" ( If your smart you will know who he trying say will beat Floyd) and thats when lil Floyd snapped, Sr basically came out full force not hiding the fact he despises Roger and Lil Floyd and that he secretly wants them to lose...........Not to mention that Floyd is still scarred from Sr being a deadbeat shitty father not being able to support his children, and treating his momma like ****
I agree with this for the most part, but I don't think it's too late for Floyd to change and be a positive role model for people. It's still in him. Everybody has that capability. It wouldn't hurt society to have positive role models that kids can aspire to be like. His work ethic is great, but his attitude towards others... Well you seen it.
Again, I'm not justifying anything. Nowhere did I write about anyone being in the right or the wrong.
Kids learn what they live. Obviously Jr. hasn't learned the same type of respect for his father that many of us have. But who is to blame for that? In my opinion, you can't teach (or allow) your son to be an irresponsible, selfish brat, and then get mad when it comes back to bite you. Jr. might be all of those things you called him, but his father is where the blame (and credit) lies.
I see where you're coming from in the sense that his father allowed him to grow up the way he did... But at the same time it was his father that put him in the position he's in now to be successful. His father could be like so many other father's today and left him a long time ago and nobody would have heard that name Mayweather Jr. But Floyd is a grown man. He knows the difference between right and wrong and he has the ability to learn.
Sr did probably said when are you going to fight pac... obviously the word pac is a taboo in his gym... Maybe that's why Sr said to Floyd jr 41-1...
Yes, Floyd is a grown man who needs to be held responsible for his own actions. I agree with that. However, just because his father was there, doesn't mean he isn't responsible for not giving his son some "home training" that he desperately needs. He taught him to fight and to make money and fame... Maybe he should have taught him how to be more responsible with it. I would feel more inclined to bash Floyd if he had done this to someone who didn't actually have a hand in making him the way he is.
