 the whole post is just :nut
When did Magee, Mendy, Zuniga or Joppy even beat a top100-150 SMW let alone top 20-50.. world rated fighters?:rofl add everyones leftover Miranda and then that equals wins over Kessler or Abraham? :huh
Abraham knocked Miranda and Taylor the **** out, was highly competitive against Dirrell, knocked him down twice and also was competitive against Ward. Berrio beat Mack and is 1-1 with Stieglitz.. not even close

    No he didn´t

    Like it or not.

Magee,Brinkley,Bika, Andrade were all top ten ranked fighters when Bute fought them.

In fact, taking away the guys involved in the super 6,hes been fightibg the best fighters out there in the last couple of years.

and you tell me what knowledge you have?? bute has not beaten a good fighter in his prime he fights opposition that were neever elite, he never left canada.. so are you telling me he got a better resume then froch and ward??? you cant even argue that point coz if he hasnt fought and beat better opposition then froch and ward how can he be ranked number 1 at one point in his career.. his pure hype until he steps up and fights the top dogs.

That there is the important part of your post, mate.

I agree he's fought the best available at 168, but he's yet to fight the top dogs, which is the crux of the issue regarding Bute. I feel that Froch, Ward, Kessler and maybe even Dirrell could all be undefeated against Bute's level of oppostion as well, so why is he rated so highly by some?

It would have been good to see Bute test the waters at a catchweight against a Cloud level of fighter (Not a huge move up neccessarily, just a case of cutting less weight for Bute) in the absence of the top guys in his division. That may have been interesting, as he hasn't been left with a lot with the Super Six.

However, I feel we'll all know about Bute and how to rate him fairly pretty soon. I reckon he'll come out looking pretty good.

    :-(

Folks need to stop with the notion that Andrade provided some sort of blueprint for beating Bute. Was Bute not ahead on the scorecards when the disputed count occurred? If you wish to say Bute received a gift count, fair enough. However, let's not pretend as if Andrade's approach was dominating the bout to that point.

Moreover, how well did Andrade's pressure style translate in the rematch??

I do think Andrade provided some blueprint (not the only way of course) to beat Bute.

Yes BUte was ahead but ANdrade was still coming (like Johnson will...unless the liver gets it...).

Andrade didn't get the chance to do that in the rematch...

That being said, Bute learned to lower his pace since then.

First, I was not talking to you. It is kind of bizarre you take persinal what's addressed to another poster. Second, nobody puts Bute at first place except a stupid computerized system. I don't rank him first and I'm a big fan of his. Third, Bute fought three times in USA and twice in Romania, so, even if it was at the beginning of his career for The USA fights, to say he always fought in Canada is not true. Fourth, Ward, who is ranked first by the vast majority of experts and fans, has never fought outside USA since he turned pro.

    So, what's your point again?

    So, what's your problem again?

Johnson will be BUTEs best he has fought. At the same time, thats still not saying much. BUT! Johnson is the best Fighter available since Kessler, and Pavlik declined!

Bute is a Glass Jawed fraud. Nothing more, nothing less.
