    Victor is the WBC champion.

Ortiz may not give Mayweather much of a fight, but he'll still give him a much better fight than Khan will. Khan is delusional. Ortiz would knock him out, as will Floyd, with ease. Khan is one of the most overrated fighters on the planet.

    So?

He chose to fight him, Floyd could have fought Pac.

Khan would have fought Bradley had he not bitched out

For pac you forgot Cotto after being demolished against a slow C fighter in Margarito, they knew thats the guy they were going after. They even stated he was ripe for the picking. You could also add Morales who looked past it and opting to fight Morales again after he was Schooled by Zahir Raheem instead of fighting Raheem. Mayweathers list looks about right but you could add Bruseles as well.

Also team Khan Cherry picked Zab Judah justifying it because he was beating bums up on Espn, and Khan went life and death with Maidana who has one decent win on his resume and it is against Ortiz.

So what's ur point? So because Zab is the IBF champ it's a viable option for Khan, but Victor (the WBC champ) isn't for Floyd? Yes, he could've fought Pac, but Arum doesn't want to have Manny drug tested (a totally different argument). The fact is, in the WW division, Victor is the #1 guy for Mayweather to fight in the event that a Pac fight can't be made.

Floyd fighting Ortiz is just as equivalent to Pac fighting Clottey... both fights were against solid, top ranked WWs... and only happened because the megafight couldn't be made..... Ortiz ain't handpicked.. he might not stand the greatest chance against Floyd but outside of Pac there are no other options currently at WW.... after marquez Pac really won't have any options either because Khan, Bradley, and etc have proved nothing at WW to warrant a fight.. so as far as I'm concerned Pac and May are fighting decent opponents and hopefully will fight each other next year... but no way is Ortiz a handpicked bum... or that would make a fight between May and Khan a "super handpicked, bloated LWW who has no business at WW"..

yea but at least ortiz fought at ww before he's fighting floyd.

like i said if floyd/ortiz is another handpicked fight, floyd/khan would be too.

I dont want to be bashing on Ortiz at all since i actually like him as a person and I appreciate his style. But people seem to be overrating him after beating Berto, he showed heart and power in that fight, but demonstrated way too many weaknesses. Ortiz at the end of the day is inconsistent and his record even shows that. Mayweather knows its easy pickings and people will be inclined to buy the PPV believing the Ortiz hype.
Judah on the other hand was seen as somebody (especially on this site) that could KO Khan.

Furthermore, Mayweather doesnt care about the WBC belt. Its the money hes after
