Which 20 boxers are the top earners in boxing today? From what we know these are the guys that I know of: 1. Wladimir Klitscho - $6-10 mill per fight. 2. Vitaly Klitscho - $6-10 mill per fight. 3. Floyd Mayweather - $4-8 mill per fight. 4. Manny Pacquiao - $4-6 mill per fight. 5. David Haye - $3-6 mill per fight. 6. Arthur Abraham - $3-5 mill per fight. 7. Mikkel Kessler - $ 2-4 mill per fight. 8. Tomasz Adamek - $1-3 mill per fight. 9. Amir Khan - $1-2 mill per fight. 10. Felix Sturm - $1-2 mill per fight. 11. Lucien Bute - $1 mill per fight. 12. Carl froch - $1 mill per fight. 13. Bernard Hopkins - $1 mill per fight. Let me know if you have any corrections and also who is on the rest of the list?
Im 100% certain that Mayweather and Pacquaio earn more than the Klits. Surely to **** BHop gets more than a million aswell. Where did you pull these figuers from.
Newspaper articles etc. Some I am more sure of than others. Correct if you have better estimate of B Hops usual earnings.
I think career earnings would be a better barometer of financial earning power in boxing. Purses vary drastically from opponent to opponent. Take Kessler for example, do you really think he earned $2-4 million for beating up that Arab guy in his last fight? I also seriously doubt the Klitschko's are pulling in more than Floyd and Manny on average per fight.
I think floyd and manny make more the the Klitschos, dont they ussually have a guranteed amount of roughly 8 million then the ppv money, also I think cotto surely makes enough to be top 10 but not sure
These numbers are not correct because even if you were using the mean they would still be wrong.I dont know if you are just ignorant, stupid or funny but you fail on all your attempts
Yes, Kessler earned $1.9 mill against Bouadla. He will earn about $1.7 against Stieglitz (giving Stieglitz about double....). He earned between 2-3 mill per fight in the supersix. He earned $5.5 mill against Calzaghe and so on. Kessler has been around 2-5 mill consistently for a long time (I only said 4 mill on the list). Career earning would just tell us that mostly older fighters have earned more... not a very good picture of their recent (over 10 fights or so) earning potential.
If you're going by athletic commission purses they will underestimate earnings for the likes of Mayweather and Pacquiao due to not having the pay per view cut fully worked out. And I struggle to see how the Klits are rising to $10million per fight when at most german television is paying $4.5million.
Are you ironic or you actually know the deal? Many people fail to realize that King Arthur was a huge star in Germany until recently and earned ****-loads of money. Based on his last 8-10 fights I'm very sure he is around the top.
Not only German TV bought, for example, the Haye fight. It was sold to TV companies around the world, plus a sold out arena with very expensive seats. Germany is where the money is these days.
