^ Aside from Leonard, the other bigger guys in those pictures are 1 dimensional sluggers, who Marquez would look good against...You fail to understand that the fact that Floyd is a stylistic nightmare to JMM, plus the weight JMM was fighting at is why he got outclassed that bad...By the way, why wont you post a pic of Duran against Hearns??

So? Lighter guys can only challenge larger fighters if they are easy styles for them?
Maybe Marquez should have thought twice before calling out Floyd then.

No one is saying they cant, but the outcome will always favor the bigger guy. As for the latter statement, i agree with that...Marquez calling out Floyd was not a very bright idea...Juan definetly bit alot more than he can chew with that one.

Alright let me break down those fights for you.

Duran-Leonard. Awesome once in a century type of performance. It would never happen again as it was shown in the rematches.

    As Zopilote said.
Margarito-Pac was a no defense brawler going against Pac. If you need me to break this down further you are the one that doesnt know anything.
    Morales-Diaz same as Pac-Margarito.

Do you honestly think the weight does not matter?? You obviouly do not know a thing about boxing. While i feel PBF does hold a styles advantage over JMM this fight would have been closer and JMM has a better chance at the lower weights where PBF is lighter and doesnt have as much weight to help him absorb the punches.

This fight at 130 does not go the same way.

Marquez calling out Floyd was a GREAT idea as he got paid millions of dollars.

Floyd didn't "use" his size to beat Marquez, therefore by the same ******ed logic Mayweather outboxing Ivan Calderon would be a good win. I say it again: NONSENSICAL.

No. Its been proven over and over in boxings history. I can give you a never ending list of smaller fighters beating larger fighters but for some reason, Floyd Mayweather is an exception to this rule to some of you guys.

Marquez didn't have the talent to beat Floyd, I love Marquez but its true. Sorry, thats the end of the story.

Marquez would have lost if he'd been a career 154 pounder.

I think we all agree here that Marquez would have lost to Floyd no matter what...Thats not what we are arguing...All i am saying is that Marquez would have looked alot better had he been in his natural weight..he would still lose to Floyd tho.

I think the fight would have looked the same. Its not like Floyd was landing crushing power shots that had Marquez staggering around all night. He stood right in front of Marquez and made him fight a fight that didn;t suit his style. You could see that Marquez was tentative and confused as soon as Floyd started making him miss and hitting him back.

The fact of the matter is that Money simply outclassed his ass. JMM couldnt even hit the man. His lowest connect rate in life.If JMM was hitting him regular enough where if it were a smaller opponent , there would have been damage then you would have to consider size. That wasnt the case. As for JMM being sluggest at his weight, thats his fault. JMM is a great fighter but styles make fights and that night Money used his style better than JMM used his. Money has always been taller and faster than JMM. If weight was the real issue then Margarto would have beat the **** out of Pac.:bbb:bbb:bbb

Wouldnt be nearly as one-sided, but Floyd would win something like 117-111 IMO.

Lets have that list. Here is the criteria:
They have to be a defensive wiz
    p4p elite
have fought 2 weight classes higher than the smaller fighter for the past 3 years

Go ahead I will be waiting.
