Is Fwank cashing out??

Its fair enough giving a large amount to an olympic medalist due to the publicity they get but unless there a special talent they shouldnt get such a huge amount. Thats what makes the Frankie Gavin scenario so weird. The reported amounts makes you think he should have atleast had a title shot by now.

Amir Khan was a good shout – he was the only big name and he’d had huge amounts of publicity before going pro. Frank even got his final amateur bout on terrestrial TV. He was a nice, humble kid from a good family. And ****** was able to sell out large venues with him almost instantly, so he covered Fwank’s costs for putting him on regularly.

Gavin had a great pedigree with the World’s win, but he was more famous for missing the weight than anything else.

DeGale might have won the Gold, but he immediately turned people off with his attitude and arrogance. He doesn’t draw an audience and probably never will now.

Then the insanity of featuring them on PPVs that attract small audiences comes into play. So now: no big names, no audience, and stuck on a platform that only a minority watch, but huge salaries to cover. That’s a disaster.

The only one of Frank’s Olympic stable worth pushing is Gavin.

 

the fighters of today are plain boring who the hell would wanna follow them apart from the hardcore boxing fan ,and fun time frankie oh i forgot he made major changes he dropped the fun time this guy is just not comfortable in front of a tv camera,degale trys to be like naz but fails miserably.,with so few tv dates boxing in a bad way,you got promoters like spencer fearon mixing it up with his 50/50 fights but with that all you gonna see is very average fighters with little talent mixing it up .

I think he might surprise you. He's smart, he's witty and he can put on a show when he chooses to. But Rob, your assessments count for very little when you think Curtis Woodhouse won four rounds against Gavin.

Frank should be putting on at least 1 MAJOR fight card per month on Sky not PPV. The card should be stacked from top to bottom. It's so annoying because he has the roster, venues etc
