Def stepping up in competition. Sylvester has fought some decent opponents & is a former IBF Mid Champ.

Jeez, if Proksa wins, who would he get a title shot against???

    Sergio Martinez???:think

    Chavez Jr.???

I'd love to see him fight Chavez Jr & whip that butt. I don't know about Chavez jr., he really has surprised me with his skills & determination. It would be a great fight. Def be a test for Proksa, IMO.

I watched Proksa on the early undercard of Pacquiao/Morales II and was impressed with him as a young prospect. That was 5-6 years ago.

I'd basically given up on him due to his lack of visibility, so it's great to see him stepping up. From what I remember, he's very fan-friendly.

After his fight, he came up and sat near me with his parents (I think?) in the cheap seats. Seemed like a very nice young man.

First off, let him kick Sylvester's ass. You know the judges in Germany... Proxa has tools to win this title, he's better then German in every single aspect beside the experience. I hope he will KO him. What about Sturm next ? Proxa could retire that overrated *****.

Pure talent, probably top3 of Poland currently.

This is the fight that finally puts him on the map.

After such a promising start to his career he has had nothing but promotional, health, and match-making issues.

A star will be born Oct.1st!!!!!

Man, I hope you are right. I thought he fell off the face of the earth. And now out of the blue, we get this news.

Should he win this impressively, boxing fans will finally know his name, without a doubt. Question is, where does he go after Oct. 1st???

Chavez Jr.! Remember how we talked about that fight a couple of yrs ago? Now, it could be a reality!

Whe you saw Proksa that was only his 5th pro fight against Gene Newton. He's come along way & has won his last 10 fights in a row, all by stoppage.

Another Pole fighting out of Britain.

Chances are he has Chin/Skin issues.
