Marquez...just....this is because Trinidad 3 loses were to Jones, Hopkins and Winky.
Even though they were bigger men they were marquee fights...

plus Marquez and Trinidad are the same age; and Marquez is still fighting the best competitively. Whereas Trinidad is expired.

jmm for longevity. The man didnt fold after losing a fight and is still fighting at the sports top level against the best.

Trinidad no question. I like Marquez more, but Tito's comp was better.

Very tough. I've been looking in some detail at modern greats (cut off point is 1980, they had to be relevant after this year)

    These two are very close.

I mean jmm was the best fw in the world and the best lw in the world.

Tito was the best lmw but a huge p4p monster.

Tito, in beating pea probably has the best victory between these two.

Marquez is the most consistent and the only people to beat him by my cards have been the top two p4p for the last 3 years or so.

Marquez has maintained a level of performance for 15 years or so now. Tito managed it for about 8.

    Jmm edges it for me.

    Hmmmmm, very difficult.

I wanted to say JMM and it is close enough that he could very well take it, but I think it is Trinidad...

Tito was good but JMM is better than him as a boxer and has done more in his career so far.

is this a serious question!? if you didn't know already (which is kind of sad) it's trinidad. and by a long way.

trinidad gets underrated big time on this site. marquez gets overrated big time. who did marquez beat to make him so special? please tell me. marquez is good, but he's not great. trinidad is an ATG.

check out who both of them beat and you will clearly see who is the better, and higher ranked fighter.

his loss to hopkins is legit... the others are not. by the time of the winky fight, he'd been out of the ring for quite some time. plus, he'd lost his fire. he wasn't the same fighter.
