Or end up with a serious injury. Steele might have seen something in his eyes to say he couldn't continue

You need to let go man, let go

I was watching a bit of Rose-Harada earlier. You seen that?

Don't think so. Any use? Stupid question, it's Harada, of course it's going to be good.

I've got fights and fighters on my to-do list that I haven't got round to at all. Pong-Chokchai, Watanabe, Zaveck, McDonnell, Hall, Eloy Perez. I'm swamped but lazy.

2 seconds. I don't get what serious injury Chavez will cause, that he hasn't already, in 2 seconds? If Steele lets Taylor continue, he wins, no doubt. Even if Chavez drops him again, he wins. Taylor wasn't that badly hurt, that Chavez could have finished him IMO.

    Eloy Perez is ****

I know, but I plan on making one of those threads every week, and seeing as he's fight on Friday I need to catch up a bit better rather than the one fight I've seen.

So long as you're not too big a fan of Harada. Otherwise seeing him get schooled the way he does in that one might traumatise you. On the other hand, Rose's performance is one of the most clinical counter-punching displays I've ever seen.

Brandon Rios vs Manny Perez I: Good scrap. I had it the same as two of the judges, 95-95. Gave Rios 4 of the first 5, but Perez 4 of the last 5. Perez is a much better fighter than his record suggests.

Brandon Rios vs Urbano Antillon: Right tear up while it lasted.

Harada was truly ****ed at the weight for the Rose fight. But Rose is glorious (as he usually was) so it's well worth a look.

Jpab; do you want me to upload Pong-Chock to the tube? Or have you got it and not got round to watching it?

I'm on the way home....have Shibata-Villaflor I waiting for me :happy :happy :happy

Taylor doesn't take his gloves of the ropes even when he says 'what man' or something else.

His legs were gone, and it would have been worse than when the ref let Enzo Mac carry on. He was badly hurt!!!

    I don't think Chavez would've landed ANYTHING!!! BUT...it was a fair stoppage.

You have 36 minutes to finish your opponent. Taylor was not fit to complete the rounds, it's not a case of whether he deserved to continue but whether Chavez deserved to win after coming back and smashing him after shipping a lot of shots in a gruelling championship fight. Meldrick put up a valiant effort, but fell short. Look at the state of him, it's Chavez who did more damage throughout the fight, not just then, even if he was down big on the cards. The accumulation caught up to Taylor, really, JCC implemented the perfect gameplan.

Steele made the right call. If Taylor wasn't so loved, no one would care.
