Wards chanses of stopping Froch is a lot bigger then the other way around. I can defenitly see a stoppage due to cuts in the later rounds (if Ward makes use of his head) and since Ward will be ahead on the scorecards he will get the win. But Froch, despite his UK working class tough guy attitude and arrogant trash talk, makes sense in some of his comments. He has acknowledged Wards strong defence and seems to be worried about Wards inside rule bending game. All togehter, his idea of putting Ward under heat and make use of his stamina and angles might be his best chance. Still expect Ward to win, but if Froch can give him some trouble, it will be an exciting fight :bbb
Since the Kessler fight, Ward hasn't used his head so much so I don't think it will be a factor. Froch talking about that matter has for goal to make Ward fight cleanly and I personnally expect that to happen.
:rofl Ward will only headbut if he thinks he has to. And since his team has used that full on once they won't do that again for the Froch fight. They are not that dumb. It will probably also not be hitting low because of the Mares outrage. so - I think we are looking at rabbit punching, thumb in the eye or something like that. Oh, and the holding and hitting is a definite. No matter what none-boxing plans Ward and his team come up with there is ZERO chance he will be DQed.
Good to see you realize that Ward will win. All excuses aside, he is just a better fighter than Froch.
I agree with this, more or less. Ward dont want his next career defining fight to be tainted by people harping on about his superior use of headbutts.
