I'm listening to Kessler right now... and I feel a bit frustrated by the lack of imagination from you guys. Instead or after asking about the 3 mil offer you should have asked: Why didn't you made a proper counter-offer to Bute if you think what they offered was bad. What stopped you and your promoter from doing that. Because he basically just say it wasn't a good enough offer to be taken into consideration, and leads me to the thought that they didn't made a counter-offer.

Did you felt like he mocked you with the Pacquiao answer at the Hopkins question ?

Also didn't asked how he felt about Froch's recent comments that the super six winner will be immediately matched with Bute.

Nah, I'm sure they are not as sensitive as you. Kessler thinks they have a sense of humour, and they did.

So what? It shouldn't matter to Kessler whether he gets the semi-final or the final.

In the effort to get all the belts unified - first Froch and Ward, Kessler-Stieglitz have to fight.

Then in the next round (semi-final we can call it) the winner of S6 should fight either Kessler or Bute.

And finally! (we can call it the unification final) the winner of that fight fights Kessler or Bute (whoever was not in the unification semi-final).

    _______________

So in many way it is a greater honor to be last. The attention to the entire thing increases with every fight and the last fight will be huge.

Either way, I don't think Bute nor Kessler cares about sequence. It is only one fight difference. Well, perhaps Bute cares more because he should be really frustrated that he has never been able to make any fight happen and pushing 32 he probably feels he is in a hurry. Which is understandable, because he is.

I agree with that. I just hope Ward doesn't go another way.

Congrats on the last show. By far the very best example of boxing journalism anywhere in the world. The Floyd Sr. part was as hot off the presses as it can get and as inside as it can get. In fact, You are like HBO spoilers now...nobody is wodering about a reunion for the next episode. Bwahahahaha

The Welliver pieces were also excellent, hot off the press and very insightful. The Helenius interview was great but he has not yet gotten as open with you as some of the other guests. Kessler to boot!

Jenna is really establishing a knack for asking the tough questions to guests and they are giving some really great, honest responses. She is becoming the Barbara Walters of Boxing. Kudos. It might be time for Merchant or Kellerman to be upgraded at HBO eh?

I was on vacation....but I'm back now :good

Mikkel made it clear he got a laughable offer IHO......and stated that he thought the offer he got gave him the impression that they were not really interested in the match up......no follow up needed there ;)
