Has there been a profesional fighter that has improved his speed? (already being pro of course and not counting rocky from rocky III) If so, mention one.

Is this possible, lets say, after 25 years old?? I was wondering if you can improve this in boxing and other sports once you are mature, and if so what kind of excersies do you need?

agreed. in some sports, better technique can trump natural speed.

Maidana looked quicker and a bit more fluid in his offense against Morales, if you watch his form alone after getting over the blaring fact Morales won so many rounds.

Hope I'm not burstin' your bubble, lP, not that I've ever seen...And this is the third rail -- with those shouting, "WHAT ABOUT TOMMY HEARNS?". Never seen 'n ordinary, or light puncher, turned into a KO artist, no matter how hard they work. You're either a singles hitter or Babe Ruth, from day one.

Ya just gotta make the most of whattya got.

There's a video of Nonito Donaire showing an MMA fighter how to throw a left hook properly, MMA dude looked better/faster/stronger after trying it Donaire style

I've thought that Hopkins has looked slower and sloppier ever since the Pavlik fight. To me, his footspeed/handspeed and reflexes look like a shell of what they used to be.
