A young Miguel Cotto against today's Amir Khan. Who wins? [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ypIlhXDOAao[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mdts2P_yI_Y&feature=related[/ame]
Same. I think nearly any version of Cotto beats any Khan we've seen yet. His own very well-timed jab would disrupt Khan's own, effectively dismembering his entire game-plan and ambush-combinations style, and then follow up on those jabs with pressure. As he makes Khan move backwards vulnerably, he cuts off the ring efficiently and goes to work on the body, before going up top to the head. Cotto by knockout after a few early rounds where Khan's impressive speed makes him cover up and then adjust.
If Khan catches him early like he did Maidana, I think he could KO Cotto as Khan is good at finishing. Cotto has been vulnerable against fighters like Corley and Quintana. Otherwise, Cotto by TKO late.
