I would fear for Murrays health against Rios, Kats is more than beatable after his last 2 fights. I would prefer to see him retire tbh he's taken enough

I agree, Murray-Barrera would be more competitive. Not sure who'd win, though.

I think Rios is starting to get highly overestimated at the minute, I believe he would beat Mitchell and Murray but I'm not convinced he is the machine that many believe he is. His last two wins were impressive against Acosta and Antillon but he is easy to hit and we have yet to see him at LWW where the punches are a little bit harder.

i think his next 2-3 fights will tell us how good he is.

Wasn't Rios' next date penciled in for the Pac-JMM III card? Perhaps Arum thinks he can stack the card on the cheap. Barerra would demand more money than Murray would. Just a thought.

Rios would take the fight as its a easy win and another easy victory and KO on his record but do you really think that Murray after coming off sucha brutal loss to Kev Mitchell will be able to jump straight back in at the top level?
Hes going to have at least one fight againts someone hes pretty much gaurenteed to beat to build his confidence back but i think mitchell ended his career. I dont think he will ever be the same mainly because of his style the question marks are gonna eat him alive.

Everyone said Mitchell would get a tune up before Murray but that didn't happen. Who knows? But Murray is a strange name to be thrown around if theres no truth behind it given his recent loss

That does make sense. And I'd be very happy if he was to do this. Murray may be an easy opponent, but I'd still be intrigued to see him fight Rios. And for an undercard bout, it's well worth it.

Just to throw a spanner in the works...

Murray isn't ranked by the WBA.

    Edit: Nor Mitchell.

Well it might seem he is getting overated because we are talking about him vs Mitchell and Murray. Nobody is calling him P4P yet. But I do think he is a machine at 135 at the moment. I really wanted to see Rios v Marquez at 135.

Its hard to believe that Frank would give us all these level testing fights to find out what his fighters really have in them. If its true then I hope they spring some upsets.

Press Conferance on Monday when its expected Frank will announce a card involving Mitchell, Degale's euro shot, and groves on the same bill.

Off the top of my head i'd say it is likely to be in November, given that Clev-Bellew is in October.

I actually think Rios-Murray would be fun, afterall I enjoyed Rios-Antillion.

Kats-Mitchell: I fancy Mitchell in this now, two beating for Kats, a long break for Mitchell and if he's 100% he has a great chance imho.

Antillion is a much much better fighter than Murray is, has more power, better chin, and Rios raped him in 3. Rios destroys Murray in 2 for me, unless John gets on his bike
