Yes. Beyond that, in the sense the thread starter is using the phrase "outbox", I could argue that a 1996 Golota would easily outbox Vitali up until Golota folded by whatever bizarre ending such a fight would bring us. There are a lot of boxers historically who could have outboxed Vitali but right now I will reserve judgment on Vitali until after the Adamek fight. As Emanuel Steward himself has stated, Vitali is used to stationary targets. This one could be interesting. Vitali never fought any fast heavyweights since his return, and he certainly fought nobody who could move. That said, I think Vitali wins a wide UD against Adamek. :smoke
So you agree that stupidity is the only reason. Great. And thanks for providing an example for those who were slow to catch on.
It voted 'no'. Nope, noone could 'outbox' Vitaly. There are a few who would have a fair chance of winning against Vitaly (Lewis, Tyson, Ali, Frazier) but none of them would 'outbox' Vitaly. That is an absurd idea. Vitaly would beat the Lewis he met 4 out of 5 times. Against a prime Lewis and a prime Vitaly I think they would be 50-50.
Nope But now that Toney is inshape again, he can whoop anyone. Just look how hard it was to Vitali connect Johnson. Now imagine guy who is way more slick, defensively better and counters accurately from missed shots, and you have James Toney. That style brings whole lot of trouble for Vitali
Yeah Vitman been chubby chasing alot lately so I'm looking forward to seeing him against someone mobile like Adamek. Then who knows. Maybe JT is getting his second wind. If he is then make the fight I say. Both guys are getting on and watching Vitali get angrier and angrier at the **** JT says would be classic.
Ali and prime Lewis for sure, but UD win for them Vitali has possibly the best chin ever plus amazing heart!
Firtstly Lewis took a few rouonds of Vitali so it's not like it "can't" be done. And secondly, I think if that fat, undedicated version of Lewis could do it then a prime one would have a great chance as well!!! I don't want this to descend into another Lewis-Vitali debate but please refrain from making idiotic comments again. If the question is "who could outbox him". I'm taking this as meaning points win or stoppage whilst ahead on points......the list would be (I'm not saying these would win, this is who "could"):- Wlad Lewis Bowe Holyfield Tyson Holmes Ali Liston Louis Frazier Foreman Norton possibly. Definitely wouldn't pick all of these against Vitali, but they "could" potentially outbox him. I think this would be too big a task for the Rock, hence me leaving him out.
