Even though he was robbed himself against de la Hoya, Felix Sturm has had way too many gift decisions.

Yeah.... when they announced the last score of 117-112 I thought they'd got it right, until the words ''and new......''

117-112 was about right in Napa's favour, he was oldmanned all night.

The ultimate has to be Pone Kingpetch, although even someone like Emile Griffith could be argued.

Kingpetch was no great. Flat out. Every single higher profile fight I've seen of his (outside of his rematch with a past prime Perez, obviously) has looked to be, if not an outright robbery, than at least a highly questionable decision. That's if he wasn't outright pasted as he was in the first fights with Harada and Ebihara.

I've seen 9 rounds of the Ebihara rematch, and I believe I had Ebihara winning 8 of them. He looked to be in clear control of the fight. I also had Harada winning the rematch by a few points, and the first Perez fight could've gone either way, although from what I've seen I'd have edged it to Perez.

Even his fight with a young Mitsunori Seki looked to be highly questionable based on the footage I've seen.

He was clearly a highly skilled operator, but he was certainly no great. Not even especially close, in my opinion. Benefited a great deal from being Thailand's golden boy.

Do any of you guys know the name of the boxer who I think had 4 world title fights and I think he lost 1 or 2 by split decisions and drew the other two and therefore never got the title when he deserved it in at least 2 of the fights.
I remember the commentator saying that they'd better keep an eye on him after the 4th attempt as he'll probably be suicidal.

For some reason I think he's a black european fighter but I could be well off.

Sounds like Rocky Juarez, although I always thought he lost fairly. A lot of people felt he deserved the first fight with Chris John though.

There haven't been that many black Europeans fighting for world titles in recent years.

You'll probably log off and then it'll come to you :yep

My initial thought was Kalambay, he lost a few world title fights, but won a few too.....

If I remember right, Sky gave Napa as something like 1/7 with two rounds left. That was around the time every Fight Night had an insane result.
