Exactly. It's a sword that cuts both ways. Being an ass hole like Floyd, Sr and roger will bring attention and ppv buys but the attention isn't really positive. Which is why Floyd is under all this pressure that sees him flying off the handle.

No wonder why you act the way you act. It all makes sense now.

Floyd a G. The only reason you get to the top is to dog your father, you guys are silly.

It is my personal opinion that two grown men should be mature enough to argue respectfully and let it go when things get heated. And that is whether they are blood related or not.

Having said that, that is too idealistic for every altercation. We can sit and judge, but I'm sure most people have had a blow out of this sort at some point in their life.

Mayweather Jr went many years without his father, so to him Mayweather Sr. isn't much of a father figure, especially since he has been arrested several times. They both have big egos so they thought really couldn't back down, especially in front of everyone else. In reality it is still the best move to let it go for both their sakes.

He's earned the right to that attitude problem and to be fair if it's part of his persona than it's part of the reason he got where he is. Sure it might also end up being his downfall but if so he absolutely earned that too. He's likely just highly strung and emotional - on a hair trigger, a trait shared by many of the top people in whatever game.

All that aside, Snr is not entiirely whiter than white.

What gets me, is the people who are naive to think he's not like that in real life, that its only because the camera's are on.

Floyd is what he is, an immature, up his own arse, disrespectful person imo.

Absolutely this. Be thankful for your lovely sheltered upbringings.

What like continously winning? Being top of the game for the past 15 years and advocating proper drug testing to protect the sports legacy and create a level playing field - those embarrasing things?

The sport is called boxing and is largely about what happens in the ring and in the lead up to what happens in the ring. It is not TMZ*.

*apparantly TMZ has a selection of images of Ortiz in his underwear that should get your ***** wet!
