Why cant PBF fans accept what what a dickhead he is outside the ring?

Im a massive fan of Floyd the boxer, but as a person Floyd is a pathetic specimen, this much is obvious to anyone without a distorted perception of behavioural standards and moral dignity :yep

Luckily some of us are intelligent enough to distinguish between the two.

On the flip side a man like sr belittles you on every occasion due to his competitive ***** attention nature and can u imagine growing up with someone like that at every chance wants centre of attention, it's not surprising it was bound to get ugly.

I'm just amazed Floyd junior even has fans still. I think most people watch his fights because they want to see him get humbled.

This post is just complete BS. I hate when people take their own opinions and express it like it's a fact. I don't know one neutral person who was outraged because of how Floyd talked to his father. If anything, it showed most people how emotionally scarred he is from his relationship with Sr. It just seems like he wants his father to give him a hug and tell him he loves him and is proud of him, not all of this 'I'm the reason for all of this' type of talk. Everybody will agree that Floyd was wrong for calling his father a homophobic slur, but Sr. was just as wrong for trying to fight his son and calling him an MF.

These type of arguments are not uncommon for any type of family, hell I knew kids growing up who would curse their parents to the high heavens. But since it's Floyd, he's held to a different standard, this place is ridiculous.

I'm willing to bet he gained more fans, especially in the States. Yanks love that ignorant sheet. They feed off it. Just look at Jersey Shore, MTV, BET, ect...Only boxing purist like Floyd for his skills, and even some of them get frustrated with his saftey first approch and reluctance to go for the KO. These days most Floyd fans are mindless idiots who follow him only cause he's the name fair weather fans know of. Plus the fact that his an ignorant 'blank' man, in America the blanker the better...

    Exactly.

He is a douche outside the ring, ATG inside the ring.
I admire his great skills but I wouldn't want to be him, not for all the money in the world. I want him to lose and for his world to come crashing down.

Nor will he be the last but a man is a man and he's responsible for his own words and actions. Trying to rationalize the things he says and does, won't miraculously turn "wrong to right". There are A LOT of people both in and out of the sport who won't give Floyd a pass just because he's undefeated and a great talent. Actually the strong majority put Floyd on blast and put his ass right on front street and that creates the pressure Floyd is unable to cope with.

You're comparing Floyd Mayweather Jr to Muhammad Ali? You stupid dickhead, you are actually a joke.

Yes - Ali was brash, cocky and rude at times. He was also smart, funny, humble and empathetic. He sacrificed the best years of his boxing career and his income for what he and millions of other people believed to be right. He played a key role in the civil rights movement that help bring an end to the oppression of an entire race of people in America.

Mayweather is a woman beating, ignorant bully who gives some homeless people a bit of food when HBO's cameras are following him.

Oh yeah, he also fought the best and never retired every time a dangrous looking challenger appeared on the scene.

    **** off

I agree with your post... I don't mind someone who is brash, cocky and an ass hole sometimes. But Floyd crossed a bunch of lines that he EXPECTS to be able to get away with by either throwing money at the situation or excuse his way out of being held accountable. Floyd has the mentality that he's entitled to doing, saying and acting however he wants and doesn't care who he disrespects in the process. It will all fall on his shoulders in the end.

Ali was an ass hole and he did some very messed up **** to Joe Frazier....but Ali has also done a lot of good. Floyd hasn't done **** that's on the level of Ali outside of the ring. Ali stood for something.....Floyd stands for himself. Ali fought for equal rights for African Americans and stood up for his religious beliefes and voiced his concern over the War. What does Floyd care about..."Flash", Money, Saying "**** the world". There's no comparison. Ali is beloved.....Do you think Floyd is going to be held in such regard 30 yrs from now?
