Flea man there is no doubt he hit hard, but p4p is a serious title to give someone and he does not fit the bill I'm afraid.

Nat is only a by stander like ourselves so unless he was ringside or many if his fights which is doubtful and unless he fought him which is even more doubtful the point stands. Cheers for those links.

He was a rough little ****er. I seen him sop Wilde, just seems to smother him until he's ****ed  I imagine he'd done a lot of better work in the preceding 15 rounds or so ;-)

And, no worries DonnieB, was just trying to illustrate how even now the same thing happens. As you can see from my list, I don't have Wilde in the top 5, but not for the same reasons as yourself. I also rank Wilde as a P4P great, though outside the top 50 for sure.

Jackie Patterson was very highly regarded as a puncher in his heyday. Shame the only footage we have of him is him getting splattered all round the ring, past his prime and in against top fighters.

You might think I'm on a **** take, but I'm genuinely interested...

    Where you rate them all-time

    And all-time of Asian fighters.

Well Moon is arguably the hardest puncher in super-fly history, so he might well be the hardest hitter below 118 (though I suspect Borkhorsor is the 'real' answer going on what I've read and how damaging his punches were at 118 against ATG Oliares-conquerer Rafael Herrera, check that fight out). He is an ATG Super Fly, but not a top 100 P4Per, no way. A mad fighter, who tried to decimate his opponents and would take any shot whilst trying to do it. Probably an 11-15 Asian ATG.

Chang is in my top 70 P4P, the greatest Light Fly of all time. He makes up for that divisions relative lack of historical significance by fighting a shed load of quality fighters, and being one of the best fighters I've ever had the pleasure of watching. Seriously. That good. He gets kudos for getting to the top at such a young age, and, in his best wins, putting on performances worthy of even Duran, Robinson and Ali. He had his own style, which is, along with say, Duran, probably the most diverse and formidable skillset I have ever seen.

On his best day, no one beats Chang IMO (not many Flys either IMO)

Getting away from opinions on his talent (it sounds like I'm taking the **** but watching him proves it, unless the view is a mong) I'd say he's a top 5 Asian ATG. Haven't really got a concrete list, but knowing which Asian fighters are in my top 100, he has to place that high :good

Heard a conversation at work between a bunch of know-it-alls with them saying either Mike Tyson or Lenny McClean were the hardest punchers ever!

I turned round and calmly said 'Surely Joe Louis deserves a shout'

    They say 'who?'.......

So you keep asking questions about Chang....you're obviously interested in him....why the interest? And why no reports of how dumbstruck you are after taking the plunge.

If you can get it (not on the tube) watch his first fight with Zapata. That's a good starting point against another ATG light-fly (whilst that doesn't mean a humongous amount, Zapatas defensive ability surely does) or, failing that, get your head knocked off your shoulders and watch Jung-Koo take on Tokashiki, who was the best light-fly out of Teiken at the time :good

Chang was as good as any Asian fighter that ever lived, in my opinion. In an all time sense I'd rate him just behind Pacquiao and Harada, all things considered.
