Yea pretty much. Floyd has his kids living with him so his son wont testify against his dad.

Girls, are the cheerleaders who bring up PPV numbers and go to the end of the earth to defend Floyd, like they're actually related to the man.

MOST fans make the decision to rate a fighter on both his personality and fighting ability, its people like you who are in the minority, so someone has it wrong.

If Floyd clowned one of you guys, his fans, outside the ring, you would most probably hold it against him, and probably would let effect your judgement of him as a fighter, so dont come that BS.

yea, thats how you handle punks who dont fall in line. call em mother effers and ***gots and have your goons take care of him. i think he took it easy because it was his dad. i wouldve took his wallet and shoes and gave him a couple lumps on his head for his troubles.

Do you Floyd fans seriously sit there thinking Floyd is sinned against, that these debates flair up as a result of honest fans like yourselves trying to protect a fighter who is being persecuted for no reason?

Some of you would have us believe, that you are the considered people, when actually, considered people dont fall head over heals for a fighter and defend his every action.

Considering they argue on camera and have these schisms every couple of years. this was supposed to change something?

You may be totally sick of Floyds act, but he's 41-0. The guys you might think were dangerous that you think Floyd ducked, you don't even believe they would beat Floyd.

Exactly! Why do you care enough about how he conducts himself to come here and vent to us? If you don't like it, don't watch him.. We all know how he is, and that wasn't surprising to me. You guys go vent to your friends about how it made you feel when someone on the street does something you don't feel is right? :think

Not trying to downplay anything. It doesn't need downplaying, I give two ****s how Floyd conducts himself outside of the ring. That's the whole women like issue I'm getting at.. How any fighter acts in his personal life shouldn't matter to any of us at all... Looking up to another man who hasn't made a big impact on your life should have passed when you hit 18 at the latest... And if you're not looking up to him, what he does shouldn't matter to you. All I'm getting at. :thumbsup

Why are you talking about who ali fought?

The criteria you listed for floyd had nothing to do with his presence inside the ring it has to do with the presence outside it.

You listed the criteria not me, and it seems to me the only apologist in sight is you, just face it your criteria you used to justify your dislike for floyd you won't use against Ali because it doesn't fit your agenda.

In conclusion your initial reasoning as why you dislike floyd was a bunch of **** to justify your hater aid :rofl

If you think out of ring actions do NOT matter, then that's all you. It's naive to believe that.

    :yep

How the hell does his personality have anything to do with rating a fighter? Are we rating how he performs in the ring, or how much we like dude? I'm seriously confused on when/why people starting caring about personal lives in relation to how a fighter boxes... Which is their job... Which is the ONLY thing we're paying for... :huh

:rofl Seriously emotional guys if this is true.. "He hurt my feelings so he sucks!" Are you seriously saying this is how MEN would act? God I fear for our future male children if this is how they're being brought up..

When Ali called fraizer and listen monkeys was that tongue in cheek?

When Ali cheated several times on his loving wife and didn't care if he got caught was that tongue in cheek?

When Ali called white people the devils and he can't wait for them to burn in hell was that tongue in cheek?

:rofl Way to deflect... Guess I have to clarify although I KNOW you know I didn't mean you specifically since we've been talking in general. Or at least I have.. NOT YOU PERSONALLY LANCE. These "boxing fans" on this thread is what I'm talking about. :thumbsup

Outside of the ring actions do NOT matter, as far as if you like a boxer... But like I said in my last post, maybe society has just changed... I never in my wildest dreams would have imagined grown ass men can't separate a fighter's career and personal life.. But I guess that's the cost of having all this new technology.. More access to information, more people caring about irrelevant ****.

Nothing to do with the sport......

I don't like immature, disrespectful, shallow people in general. :rofl:rofl

But Ali is okay with you? :rofl

Your reasoning because he fought the best, but didn't you just say it has

    ?

So why would you mention who Ali fought when judging him when using your criteria for disliking a person?
