I'd agree that he has no interest in fighting on anywhere near that long, but not for either of those reasons.
I dont know if he can but he surely will fight for a long time. Especially if he takes another 2 or 3 years off and realizes that he cant live that flashy lifestyle without Boxing.
Little guys ware out faster. He'll be a shell of his current self in 5 years. If he fights past 2014 he will take a his first loss.
We have a better chance of seeing George Washington rise from the dead than seeing Mayweather fight for another 10 years. It won't happen. Unless...a few loses makes him delusional, a la Roy Jones Jr.
PBF is one of those freaks who will be ageless and could continue Winning until his 40's. I see him beating Pac and retiring tho!
He has a lesser chin than hopkins, and relies more on reflexes and still has a clear speed advantage, those will all be gone then. I could see him ray leonard his way, picking smart fights constantly coming back when he misses the spotlight.
He absolutely can. Although he will continue to duck and dodge the top fighters in the world because his style involves speed and reflex to get the job done. He has not dominated any era in my view. Pac was fighter of the decade.
Does he have the technical ability to pull it off where the body will inevitably fail? I don't know. Even though he is much better as a technical fighter than Roy Jones was, he still depends a good portion on his athleticism.
Not the same as Hopkins. Floyd relies on a speed advantage, and fast reflexes way more than Hopkins does. He has the skill to do it, but he's not as smart as Hopkins is. On another side: I won't be suprised to see him still boxing in 10 years or so just cause of his money problems.
Doubt it, unless he gets a couple losses and feels it necessary for his legacy, or runs out of money. Floyd doesn't seem to be one who likes boxing, as evidenced by his two fights in the last four years. Also doesn't like taking big risks, and fighting on when his reflexes and physical abilities have diminished would be a massive one.
? Not discipline in regards to training, but in his personal life. Hopkins doesnt drink or smoke and always trains, Floyd has a year layoff in between fights.
This content is protected So does Floyd? Your still not making any sense. As to the thread question, Floyd will stick around for at the most, 5 more years. But if he fights Pac and beats him easily, he won't even stick around for that long. But I do see him coming back to make some money if his spending habits remain the same after he's gone. I really would like to see a boxer retire well off for a change instead of broke or barely getting by. That **** is getting old.
