I expect Canelo to win every round until he stops Gomez.

Prolly a similar outcome to when Cotto overmatched Alfonso.

I don't make many predictions, however Gomez is going to be beaten by a red headed step child! Pun intended! :yep

Goes like the Bladomir or Luciano Cuello fights. Canelo dominant until he gets a KO in round 6-7. Time to get in the mix Alvarez! fight Vanes, Angulo, Andrade, Lara, Molina, Wolak, Rodriguez, Cintron, Foreman, Bundrage, Williams, is all I will find to be a good fight from now on. 60-54 Canelo before stoppage.

Gomez is a gatekeeper at best. Not top tier or a mile within.

You guys seriously underestimate Gomez and overestimate Canelo. Canelo certainly looks good, but there's a lot we don't know about him because he has fought low level competition, he's far from the proven commodity that prime Cotto was, and Gomez fought that fight with a broken hand and coming off a serious illness in the middle of his training camp. Gomez is going to come in against him and actually throw punches, he's not going to pull the human punching bag job that Canelo has enjoyed for his last four fights. And Gomez is a pretty solid technician. The fight will at the least be competitive, and Gomez has a solid chance of pulling the upset.

Gomez was a good fighter at 140, but at 147-154 its the freckled nightmare all day.

Gomez was never a 140 fighter. He's a career 147 pounder that's fought as high as Middleweight.
