He's always been a dick as a person.

I don't rate boxers on their personalities though.

I rate them on their dazzling good looks. Sergio Martinez=GOAT

pretty obvious that floyd still hold plenty of animosity of how his dad treated him and his mom. hope they work it out.

"And thanks to Floyd Sr., that's exactly what Mayweather's been carrying around with him since he was a toddler. When he was one, his father held him up to the barrel of a shotgun, using him as a human shield when a family member was about to shoot him in the chest. Sr. was shot in the leg instead and Jr., well, he learned some lessons that would serve him well as an adult."

Yea I think for ALOT of people how he spoke to his father doesn't sit well.

If I had done that to my pops NO WAY would I allow that to be broadcasted.

No doubt he is dope in the ring but as a person I really dont care for him.

I dont see any excuse for behaving like that to be honest either, I know alot of die hard fans will defend him to the death but to be frank he went too far!

If everyone tells you the sky is blue at some point its time to think that the sky mioght be blue....lets face it substancial trouble follows Mayweather and I think he is the cause an awful lot of it!

**** that. Just because the man is your father doesnt mean **** IMO. You treat a person as an individual. Floyd Sr is a low life douche bag that choose the pipe over his son and even now wants to sit there and take credit for Mayweather being so great **** that. Mayweather is great because of himself and progressed through his career with his uncle.

When you deserve to get treated disrespectfully you deserve it father or not esp when you were a **** ****in father to begin with. I have no love for Mayweather but I dont think he was wrong for the way he acted(unless it was completely for no reason then hes just a dick). But either way you shouldnt be given no life time pass just because you are someones father. If my father was a low life scumbag and a **** father he'd get treated like a low life scumbag I'm not gonna sit there a smile and treat him with respect just because he dropped a load in my mother.

I'm tired of people acting like you should have respect for your parents or grandparents(and other relatives) just because they are blood. NO! You get treated accordingly to how you are as a person and how you were as a parent.

Yeah because I'm sure Sr was a saint for those 16 years and was a great father/husband. Sr is a low life simple as that the only thing he probably did was teach Jr how to box besides that I doubt he was a great father/human being.
