Vic Darchinyan vs. Evans Mbamba RBR

Local southpaw Gabriel "Gapo" Tolmajyan just won a 6 round unanimous decision over Yevgeny Fedorov of Estonia on the undercard.

I only caught the last round, but Tolmajyan was looking good. He had Fedorov spinning like a top while dropping bombs on the X. The announcer reading the scores spoke in Armenian, as are the commentators - but it seemed to be one-sided enough that it was only a question of whether Tolmajyan would get the KO. (especially with the one recognizable English word spoken often by the commentators being an urgent pleading chant of "knockout, knockout!!!" :yep)

They keep showing the empty ring (with strobe lights dancing across it :blood) and a large graphic of Darchinyan and Mbamba whenever they return from long commercial breaks...

So I guess the undercard is over and we're just waiting for the ring walks. :conf
