    I don't think he had a single clear round, but he showed enormous heart and kept fighting until the end despite copping a serious beating.

    Oh, and I can assure you that Nic Durandt does care about his fighters. He probably wanted to stop this halfway through. That he let it go on tells me that it was Mbamba's wish that Durandt reluctantly chose to honor.

    In his early 30s maybe.

    Even his last KO two years ago came when his raw power just bailed him out on a 1-shot blast (Rojas had outboxed him in the 1st and seemed to have a good formula going), so that wasn't down to finishing instinct.

    He should have been able to finish off Arce with all that he was landing on him.

    His last really complete performance and excellent finish was probably against Mijares.
