Which Fighters Have You Recently Discovered or Rediscovered?

    One of the coolest things about being a classic boxing fan is the nearly limitless number of fighters to glean knowledge from. And, just like discovering a new favorite band or author, we get a feeling of renewal somehow in watching a boxer we had been unfamiliar with or had forgotten.

    Which fighter(s) are you now in the process of discovering and taking an interest?

    I have started taken an interest in Unknown Winston,heavyweight of the 1930s.No one knows much about Unknown today.:patsch

    Recently discovered, im ashamed to admit, freddie steele - gotta try get something good to read up on him.

    Recently rediscovered Mike McCallum - a great fighter who is really underated on this forum

    He was underrated on Internet forums about 4-5 years ago. Those days have long since past, and most know it.

    Well im sorry if im not as smart as yourself. The guy asked a question and i answered it. Im not on forums as long as 4/5yrs so i wouldnt know. I certainly havent seen any,of the top of my head, in my time here. Not that i can remember anyhow. Im obviously in the minority.

    maybe i used the wrong word in underated. He certainly doesnt get the mentions that he should be getting.
