I like fantasy match up threads, they're entertaining and educational. They allow us to compare styles and try to determine how they would play out if for real. It's just lame when someone has to come in and cry about they're fighter loosing.

    Classics:
Vs. Hearns (147) (Pacquiao would be jabbed to death and knocked out)

Vs. Leonard (147) (Great fight, but Leonard is more skilled and could match Pacquaio's skills. Wide UD for Leonard)

Vs. Duran (147) (tough fight, slugfest, Pacquiao pulls it out by outworking Duran)

Vs. Armstrong (147) (Long night for Pac..Armstrong does a number on him. Freddie stops the fight late)

Vs. Tzsyu (140) (Pacquiao KO's this overrated Aussie/Russian early)

Vs. Mosley (140) ( PRIME) (Instant classic en route to a razor thin Pacquaio decision)

Vs. Wright (154) (Pacquiao gets frustrated all night but Winky's style, but lands more punches in a boring fight.)

Vs. Trinidad (147) (Hagler vs Hearns until Tito gets caught in the later rounds and Ko'd)

Vs. Whitaker (140) (Pacquaio frustrated and countered all night, gets slapped around the ring all night. Wide decision for Sweet Pea)

Vs. R. Mayweather (140) (Pacquaio has his way with Black Mamba, although Roger lands some good punches throughout)

Vs. Chavez Sr. (140) (PAcquaio lands fast and furious throughout early and middle rounds, but Chavez is landing bombs in between. Championship rounds it's about even and Pacquaio comes away with controversial split decision)

Vs. Napoles (147) (Pacquiao beats him down...TKO middle rounds)

Vs. M. Taylor (147) (speed vs speed...a classic with both fighters having their moments..) A draw in the end.

So Pacquiao and Meldrick Taylor/Shane Mosley have a classic even battles while Pacquiao destroys Jose Napoles and beats Roberto Duran? Explain...

    Wrong....Pacquiao get murder by all.

Pacquiao never win fantasy fight. Pacquiao already beat Barerra but in a fantasy fight Pacquiao would still get murder by Barerra....trust me I read it all the time.

Same reason people read fiction or watch movies. It can be both entertaining and educational. People compare atheletes to one another all the time because that is one of the measuring sticks we use to determine who is greater. It's like in court when people cite a previous case for precidence in the current case. It's relevant, and arguing against it being relevant is nothing more than a cry baby upset that his fighter loses.
