    Russell fires the quick right jab, and catches Miranda's sturdy but slow jab between his arms. Russell waits and lets Miranda try a jab to the body, catches it, and then flashes his hands out quickly to back Miranda to the ropes. Russell keeps Miranda retreating from the fast right jab, and reaches with a straight left to the body - a bit short. Good right hook by Russell. Straight jab to the face. Miranda having trouble landing on the fellow southpaw, struggling with the speed and poise.

    Russell's round easily. Obviously the better, quicker fighter landing the telling shots, without getting landed on in return.

    I've never cared for Jones as a commentator. A lot of people like him there and I suppose if it keeps him out of the ring, I'm for it.

    Wait i have seen Miranda fight before.

    Slow has some heavy hands somewhat shaky chin.

    this might not be bad but his chances are slimmer as it is an 8 round fight and he like most Mexican fighters take some time to get going.
    He definately can test Russells chin though if he catches him. I have seen him wobble some people before.

    love Russel but was not impressed in the first rd. Sure he will win easy as rds go by or by KO bu Miranda is in the fight soley on his jab.

    The blistering 1-2 of Russell backs Miranda deep into a corner, where Russell goes fishing with his right hook and gets a big catch. Miranda slaps out with a wide right and a slow wavy left, easily parried. Russell turns into a Miranda flurry, catching shots on his left glove and landing a BIG counter right hook with beautiful follow-through and lead knee bent. Another good right hook by Russell. Fast 1-2 by Russell, Miranda running to the ropes. Russell now lands jabs as Miranda tries to sneak out to the middle of the ring.

    Another easy round for Russell. Not much to say other than he is a solid all around fighter, doing what he should against the lesser fighter. Great jabs, great rights, great defense from Russell.
