    Russell backs Miranda up to the corner and flashes out quick right jabs and left hands over the top. Body shot by Russell. Miranda throws a right hook to the body to try and free himself, but Russell unloads with a quick salvo. Right jab to the body by Russell. They circle in the middle of the ring and Miranda misses a big overhand left. Russell lands a right jab, takes a step to his right, and lands another jab. Very nice out-boxing by Russell. Dominance on the front foot. Miranda is backed to the ropes by the 1-2 and caught with right hooks to the body and battering ram lefts once there. Nice right hooks by Russell on the turn as they walk back out to the center of the ring and tiptoe around the Mayweather-Ortiz advertisement.

    Punishing round for Miranda. Russell absolutely dominated his man in that one, keeping on the ropes, unleashing good flurries with body and head shots. Miranda showed his toughness in maintaining a fairly clear head, and kept throwing. Russell's round easily.
