Not as fast as when they speed up the tape.
And maybe those are arm punches that don't have much power?

 

Yeah, it's pretty clear he doesn't have much snap in his shots. Great speed and good selection of punches, but it looks like he's not gonna' be one of those guys who likes to end things early. Showed flashes of brilliance, didn't exactly excite, but didn't disappoint either.

 

Talented kid. Acts like a real fighter, but he lacks power.

 

Looked pretty good to me. At this point in Gamboas career, hed had his ass on the canvas a few times.

Not sure what people on this site expect from a fighter. Not everyone is a big banger, no boxer fights without getting hit some.

 

His reach advantage is too short and when he gets closer to the elite, he will get shut out.

 

Reminds me of Maliagnini a little bit

its cuz he makes the fights so one sided they get boring, but that other guy was kinda terrible tho

 

And yes, his short dinosaur arms may be problem for him if he faces long-armed guy who knows how to keep people at range. But let's wait and see how he develops.
