Jan Zaveck vs. Andre Berto & undercard RBR

Berto looked good tonight. First fight back. Looked nervous, but slowly broke zaveck down. Took a few to get in some hard shots. Against a tough defense, he got some hard punches in.

 

I know but once you start giving even rounds it's the easier way out most of the time. They both landed some good punches why not give it an even round. You should think who did more damage, who was leading the action more and so on. I scored the fight 49-48 for Berto but I'm pretty sure it was wider on the official score cards. If I wanted to give even rounds it was going to be something like 3 of them only in this fight

I thought Berto was doing ok. Not spectacular, but he wasn't in serious trouble at any point. Sure, he may have lost steam towards the end of it went the full 12, but he would have secured enough rounds in the bag to get the victory, even if Zaveck wasn't cut.
